Signs Your Cambria Driveway & Pavers Is Failing

• Weeds or moss in joints that were previously clean. The polymeric sand has degraded, usually from UV exposure combined with Huntington Beach’s marine layer moisture cycling. Once the binder washes out, organic matter seeds in the void and the joint loses interlock strength.

• Edge restraint visible above grade or completely detached. The plastic or aluminum edging has either lost its stakes to corrosion or the stakes pulled through saturated soil. We see this most often on north-facing driveways where the marine layer lingers until noon and keeps soil moisture elevated.
